What is a Restoration Company?
We are a team of skilled professionals who are there to help when disaster strikes in the instance of fire, flood or escape of sewage within your property. We may be contacted directly by individuals, or called in through your insurance company to organise various recovery projects to return your property to its former state.
In all cases, our priority is to return your property and belongings to their original condition wherever possible, with a minimum of hassle.

As a restoration company, we at Protex and Red Dragon understand that in the event of a peril, time is of the essence. The sooner that items and belongings are removed from the site of disaster, the more chance there is of full restoration. We also understand that such situations can cause huge amounts of distress and upset so we will always work with the highest level of professionalism and empathy, offering reassurance when it's needed.
Our focus is not just on washing and cleaning the items that come through our doors, but to restore them to an ‘as new’ state wherever possible. This has meant learning in-depth about many specialist materials and fabrics, and the techniques and tools required for restoring and caring for them correctly.
Our restoration laundry concentrates on soft contents such as clothing, curtains, bedding and cushions, soft toys and specialist clean garments. These items are removed and transferred to our unit where they are validated with a view to fully restoring as many items as possible. All items will be cleaned using our specialist cleaning systems, dried and finished to the highest standard before going through the ozone process. Finally they are packed into wardrobe boxes and boxes before being stored ready to return.
Our Wash Systems
Our two wash systems - the Lagoon and the Esporta - give us a major lead in the restoration world.
The Esporta system is patented and scientifically proven to effectively clean over 95% of soft contents affected by soot, sewage, water damage and bio-contamination. The system technology uses a game-changing hydraulic action (as opposed to the traditional agitation cleaning method) and the wash system contains not just one, but four individual cleaning chambers inside the main drum, where items are held in place and rotated. Not only does this produce food grade clean results, but allows us to wash in loads up to 6 times as much as a standard machine.
The Lagoon offers us a dynamic wet cleaning system enabling us to give delicate items a true professional clean and finish.
